Your IDSE fee includes access to your Learner Dashboard, audio-narrated e-learning, three attempts for each of the two unit exams, a closing interview and an e-certificate after you pass.
Are printed original certificates and courier included?
The IDSE fee includes your e-certificate. An original printed certificate and courier delivery to your personal address are available for an additional US$35.
Do I need previous Health & Safety experience?
No prior OHS qualification is required for IDSE. It is designed for newcomers as well as experienced practitioners, engineers, managers and career switchers. Our team can help you assess how it fits your goals.
Can I study and take my examinations from overseas?
Yes. IDSE is 100% online, with self-paced audio-narrated learning and remote subjective open-book examinations. Each of the two examinations allows 24 hours, with three attempts included per examination.
How do I register and pay?
You can pay directly through our website using your debit or credit card, or simply contact us and we will provide our bank account details for a bank transfer.
Who will conduct my closing interview?
Your closing interview will be conducted through our intelligent AI-based system and will be video recorded. A human assessor will review the recording and make the final pass or fail decision.
Are there any specific instructions for the closing interview?
Yes. You must answer the questions using your own knowledge and understanding. You cannot use books, notes or any other reference materials during the interview.
What will I be asked in the closing interview?
You will be asked questions about your exam answers, along with questions that check your understanding of the key concepts covered in IDSE. Be prepared to explain your answers and the ideas behind them in your own words.
Does IDSE guarantee CSP or IOSH membership?
No. Professional-body requirements and individual eligibility apply. IDSE held IOSH accreditation from 2017 to 2022; that accreditation period has concluded. Alumni outcomes reflect individual progression, not an automatic membership award.
Does PLICERT offer guaranteed passing or “done base” arrangements?
No. PLICERT is a professional training delivery centre, and our alumni network is established across the Gulf sector. Professionals seek IDSE by name because they understand the value of a qualification that is genuinely earned. We do not offer or support guaranteed-passing arrangements, proxy work or other malpractice.
If anyone promotes guaranteed passes, proxy assessments or other unethical arrangements involving PLICERT or IDSE, please report it to us at ceo@plicert.com. Share any relevant messages or advertisements so we can investigate.
What if I fail? Is my hard-earned money wasted?
You receive three free attempts for each IDSE examination, tutor support and access to the online e-learning materials. If you still do not pass after those attempts, you may apply for a PKR 45,000 refund on compassionate financial grounds. Applications are reviewed individually and must meet the applicable compassionate-financial-grounds criteria; contact our team for the process and terms.
